Our university has secured a place in the 1601–1800 band in the World University Rankings 2027, announced by Times Higher Education (THE)—one of the world’s leading higher education ranking organizations—marking its first-ever inclusion in the list.

Having previously been evaluated under "reporter" status by THE for data-sharing purposes, our university has now taken its place among global universities by being included in the World University Rankings for the first time this year.

With the release of the 2027 results, our university became one of 19 institutions from Turkey to appear in the rankings for the first time.
A total of 124 universities from Turkey were featured in the THE World University Rankings 2027, which evaluated 2,297 higher education institutions across 118 countries and regions worldwide. THE’s 2027 results assess university performance based on key indicators such as teaching, research environment, research quality, industry collaboration, and international outlook.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Stating that our university’s inclusion in the THE World University Rankings for the first time marks a significant milestone, İsmail Boz said, “We are delighted that our university has been included for the first time in the THE World University Rankings, one of the major international higher education rankings. This result is a significant indicator of our university’s ongoing efforts to enhance its academic and institutional capacity. We will continue to resolutely pursue our initiatives across a wide range of areas—from education and training to research and development, and from internationalization to university-industry collaborations—in the period ahead. We aim to further elevate our university’s international visibility and academic quality.”

We extend our gratitude to all academic and administrative staff who have contributed to our university’s academic visibility on both national and international stages, and we hope this achievement will bolster our university’s future endeavors.
