Participated in YÖKAK International Quality Assurance and Accreditation Conference.

Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University participated in the 2nd YÖKAK International Quality Assurance and Accreditation Conference, organized by the Council of Higher Education Quality Assurance (YÖKAK) in Istanbul. Held on September 14–15, 2026, under the theme "Quality Assurance Systems and Artificial Intelligence in the Digital Transformation Process," the conference addressed the future of quality assurance in higher education, accreditation processes, and the impacts of digital transformation and artificial intelligence on quality assurance systems.

The conference was attended by our University’s Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz; our Vice-Rector and Quality Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu; academic and administrative staff from the Quality Coordination Office; and a student member of the Quality and Accreditation Society affiliated with the Quality Coordination Office. By presenting six papers at the conference, our university had the opportunity to share its work in the fields of quality assurance and accreditation with academic circles. Participants attended all sessions, following presentations and evaluations regarding quality assurance, accreditation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and new quality approaches in higher education.

Throughout the conference, knowledge and experiences were exchanged with academics, quality experts, and higher education representatives from various universities. Evaluations regarding quality assurance and accreditation processes were conducted in light of the current approaches and best practice examples discussed during the event.
