"Rector-Student Meetings" Took Place

As part of the traditional "Rector-Student Meetings" at our university, our Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, met with our students. In these meetings, organized within the framework of a student-centered management approach, our Rector directly interacted with students, listening to their views and suggestions firsthand.

The meetings began with visits to the Maritime Vocational School, the Faculty of Medicine, and the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. The program continued with visits to the Faculties of Theology, Communication, Art, Design and Architecture, Health Sciences, Health Services Vocational School, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Sports Sciences. Finally, visits to the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Manyas Vocational School, and Gönen Vocational School concluded the program.

Speaking at the meetings, our Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, expressed his pride in the university's achievement of five-year full accreditation, raising its quality standards to the highest level. Our Rector, stating that this achievement is a critical milestone in terms of certifying the quality of education and the international validity of diplomas, drew attention to the importance of student feedback for the sustainability of accreditation processes.

Emphasizing that a student-centered management approach is at the heart of all processes, our Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, touched upon the importance of direct communication with students, saying, “Being together with you, listening to your problems firsthand, and developing solutions together is our priority.”

During the meeting, students had the opportunity to directly convey their views, requests, and suggestions regarding educational processes, campus life, and academic opportunities to our Rector. The program, which took place in the form of a mutual exchange of ideas and evaluations of the issues raised, concluded with a commemorative photo session.
